LaGrange County Sheriff Corporal Houser Retires After 28 Years

LAGRANGE - The LaGrange County Sheriff's Department announced the retirement of Corporal Brent Houser.
Corporal House served with the LaGrange County Sheriff's office for over 28 years.
He worked as a confinement officer from 1996 until 1998.
In 1999, Corporal Houser graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Class, 99-138.
In 2000, he was hired back at LaGrange County Sheriff's Office as a road deputy.
He was promoted to Corporal in 2020.
Corporal Houser is an Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Instructor, Hostage Negotiator, Firearms Instructor, Field Training Officer and is a member of the Critical Response Team.
"We thank you for your 26 years of dedication and service to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office and to the people of LaGrange County," said the LaGrange County Sheriff's department in a Facebook post.
"We wish you all the best in your retirement, Corporal Brent Houser."
