ELKHART – A police pursuit Friday ended on the Indiana Toll Road.

The Elkhart Police Department says at 5:20 PM, they were notified of a man with outstanding warrants near County Road 6 and Cassopolis Street. As police approached, the suspect headed west on County Road 6 and struck a vehicle.

He then went north on Moose Trail, through some woods and struck two fences and ended up on the Toll Road, near the 89 Mile Marker. The driver fled the scene. K-9 officers were brought in but were unable to located the individual.

No serious injuries were reported.
