HOLIDAY CITY - An Indiana woman was flown from the scene of a head-on collision with a big rig on U.S. 20 earlier this week following an accident that happened in Northwest Ohio.
According to authorities in Williams County, the accident happened between County Road 12 and the St. Joseph River, northwest of Holiday City. Reports indicate Judy Moore, of Wolcottville, was westbound on 20 when her SUV crossed the center line. Moore hit another SUV causing it to overturn off the south side of the roadway.
Moore’s SUV continued, smashing head-on tractor-trailer.
Responders with the Pioneer Fire Department had to cut Moore out of the crumpled wreckage. She was flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne where she was last listed in stable condition.
It was not noted if the other SUV driver or semi driver was injured.
