A windy day is in store, especially from late morning into this afternoon as peak wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph are expected.

The National Weather Service says isolated gusts to 60 mph in the warning area could be possible.

As for the temperature, forecasters say many areas will quickly jump into the 50s this morning before falling this afternoon.

Some areas of our listening area will experience rain showers throughout the day.
