Pick Your Own Lavender At Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve

FREMONT, IN - Lavender will be available to pick this weekend at Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve in Fremont.

This Saturday and Sunday, August 6th and 7th, the public is invited bring shears or cutting tools to harvest from the preserve's 2,000 lavender plants.

The cost is between $5 and $10.

Those wanting to participate may show up anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the preserve, located at 6975 North Ray Road.

When dried lavender not only has a fragrant smell, but it can also be used several other ways according to Botanist.
