Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced on Wednesday the Indiana COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program. The Indiana COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program will use $25 million in federal CARES Act funding to help Hoosiers struggling to pay their rent due to coronavirus.
The program will provide up to $500 in assistance for a total of four months, with the maximum total per household being $2,000 to cover past and ongoing rental payments or late fees.
Rental assistance is available to residents in all Indiana counties except Marion which includes Indianapolis, where a separate $15 million CARES Act-funded program was announced.
