Indiana Surpasses 38,000 mark in COVID-19 Cases

The Indiana State Department of Health says there were 339 new cases of coronavirus reported Tuesday afternoon across the state and locally each of the four counties within Northeast Indiana saw new cases as well as two additional deaths.

Steuben County has three new cases or deaths, bringing the total number of cases within the county 98 people with coronavirus, and 2 deaths. Meanwhile, DeKalb County is reporting 5 new cases of coronavirus. That makes 84 people who have tested positive and 1 person has died in the county.

LaGrange County has 7 new cases, which means 188 residents have the virus and 2 people have died. In Noble County there are 5 new cases. There are now 310 individuals with COVID-19, and 25 people who have died from it, up from 23 as reported on Tuesday.

Statewide, a total of 2,173 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, which is an increase of 15 as reported on Tuesday.
