With his Primary Election victory in the books, Steuben County Middle District Commissioner nominee Ken Shelton already has several areas of concern he would like to see addressed if formally elected to the position this November.
One particular area is in that of economic development, not just in attracting new business to the county but also taking care of the industry that is already in the area.
Shelton believes that county government's role should be to help businesses come into the community, but should also be mindful and take extra care of those that are already trench in the community.)
Other areas of concern that Shelton would like to address are the likes of population growth, school enrollment, as well as expanding the effort into adding more affordable housing within the county.
