Coming up this Friday, March 27th the Downtown Angola Association and Swick Broadcasting are partnering with Angola Middle School, Monument Pizza, and Sutton's Deli to provide 200 free family size pasta dinners at the Monument.
One of the event organizers, Joe Hysong, says the meals will be pre-made and ready for pick-up at the mound during the event. He says the meals are catered to feed a family of four at least two times. Each tray of pasta is pre-cooked, and will only need to be reheated at home.
Hysong says area police will be on hand to help handle the traffic in the area, as the event will start at 4:30 P.M. There is a limit of one tray per family who drives up to the mound during the course of the opportunity.
Those participating will not have to get out of their vehicle. All they have to do is drive-up, and take home a tray.
