Overnight Freezing Rain and Snow Mix Could Make Morning Commute Treacherous
Tuesday, February 18, 2020

An overnight mix of snow and freezing rain across the tri-state region could leave conditions somewhat treacherous during the Tuesday morning commute to school and work, with some fog also remaining in the area throughout mid-morning.

According to the National Weather Service, the fog will last until the middle to later stages of this morning before yielding to mostly cloudy conditions for the duration of the afternoon and evening with high temperatures reaching only into the low 30s.

The colder conditions are expected to last through most of this week, with highs in the high 20s and low 30s but partly sunny skies do return on Wednesday before a slight warm up and mostly sunny skies expected by Friday.

Stay tuned as we will keep you updated on any school delays or cancellations throughout the morning.
