Opening Statements Made Monday Against Indiana Attorney General
Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Testimony began on Monday in Indianapolis over the case surrounding Indiana Attorney General, Curtis Hill after allegations about him drunkenly groping four women at a bar last year.

Hill looked on Monday as Rep. Mara Candelaria Reardon testified about the incident, calling him a "creeper" in a series of hearings that could potentially last all week and lead to sanctions against Hill's law license.

While testimony continued, Hill disputes the claims from Reardon along with three other legislative staffers that he inappropriately touched their backs or buttocks during that party. Hill's attorneys argue that he did not do anything improper as a lawyer, therefore should not face law license sanctions as he was cleared by a special prosecutor.

Hearings on the matter will continue today.
