EASTLAKE, OH – The Fort Wayne TinCaps lost, 3-2, to the Lake County Captains (Cleveland Guardians affiliate) at Classic Park on Wednesday afternoon.

The loos came despite the performance of starter Efraín Contreras in his final outing of the 2022 campaign.

The right-hander posted his longest start since September 2nd, 2019, going six scoreless innings on Wednesday and striking out six.

The TinCaps play again tonight, Thursday, September 8th, at the Lake County Captains. The first pitch will roll out at 6:35 PM.
