ANGOLA - Angola's Marching Band was honored for, "50-Years of Music Excellence," with an Honor Assembly on Friday, April 26.

The Indiana House and Senate Resolution Honor Assembly celebrated the Angola High School Marching Hornets for 50 Years of Music Excellence.

Angola High School Alumni, former band directors, sponsors and parents joined Angola's Marching Band and Director Bob Myers to for their golden anniversary.

Indiana State Representative Denny Zent (R-51) spearheaded the initiative for the Honor Assembly.

Other house speakers included Senator Susan Glick, Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and former AHS Band Director Jon Milleman.
