Children’s Supply Factory Plans Closure Of Angola Location

ANGOLA, IN - An Angola factory will reportedly be closing there doors for operation.

Missouri-based Children’s Factory LLC is planning to close its plant located at 701 West Mill Street in Angola. The company manufactures early education furniture and supplies.

In a notice to the state, company officials say the closure in Angola will affect 26 employees.

The affected employees are reportedly not represented by a union, and do not have bumping rights. The notice to the state (dated January 9th, 2023) said the layoffs are set to begin on or around March 17.

The company has another manufacturing plant at the site of its corporate headquarters in Union, Missouri.

At this time it is not know why the company is closing the Angola facility.
