(ALLEN COUNTY) - Allen County ended 2025 with a total of 35 homicides, a decrease from the 41 recorded in 2024, according to year-end figures. In 2023, the county reported 31 homicides. Data shows more than half of the homicide victims in 2025 were Black. Ten victims were white, two were Hispanic, and one was Asian. Of those killed, 24 were male and 11 were female. The youngest homicide victims were 16 years old, while the oldest was 86. According to 21 Alive News, 33 of the 35 homicide cases had been closed by the end of the year, with two cases still under investigation.
