(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana hunters can apply for the next round of reserved hunts beginning Monday, July 6.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says applications must be submitted online through GoOutdoorsIN.com. The online system is the only way to apply, and late entries will not be accepted.

Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, July 29.

Applicants must have a valid hunting license for the hunt they want to apply for. A $1 tech fee is charged for each hunt application.

Available Hunts - This round includes reserved hunts on public and private land.

Dove hunts will be available at Atterbury, Blue Grass, Jasper-Pulaski, Kankakee, Kingsbury, Pigeon River and Wilbur Wright Fish & Wildlife areas, along with Game Bird Areas.

Teal and early goose hunts will be available on Indiana Private Lands Access sites in Bartholomew, DeKalb and Sullivan counties.

Squirrel hunts will be available on Indiana Private Lands Access sites in Bartholomew and Scott counties.

Youth deer hunts will be available on Indiana Private Lands Access sites in LaPorte, Cass, Sullivan, Bartholomew and Scott counties.

Youth deer hunts will also be available at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge and Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge.

How Hunters Are Selected

Hunters at each participating property will be selected through random computerized drawings.

Applicants will be able to view results online. DNR says an email will be sent to all applicants after the drawings are completed.

License System Reminder

DNR says hunters must use GoOutdoorsIN.com to buy a license or apply for a reserved hunt.

The state launched a new license system in December 2024. Hunters should click the login button on GoOutdoorsIN.com, log in or create an account through Access Indiana, then return to the Activity Hub.

The DNR says first-time users of the new system will need to look themselves up and verify their personal information before purchasing a license or applying for reserved hunts.
