(AUBURN) - Auburn Mayor Dave Clark is being recognized for advancing his leadership skills at the state level.
Clark has earned a Bronze Certificate from the Aim-Ball State Mayors Institute, a statewide program focused on strengthening leadership and management in Indiana cities. The certification is awarded to mayors who complete training in key areas like municipal finance, budgeting, ethics, community development, and long-term planning. The program is a partnership between Accelerate Indiana Municipalities and Ball State University's Indiana Communities Institute.
Mayor Clark says the training is already shaping how he leads and works with others, calling the program a practical tool for improving service to Auburn residents. Aim CEO Matt Greller praised Clark's commitment, saying the certification reflects a dedication to professional growth and effective public service.
With the Bronze level complete, Clark is now eligible to continue in the program toward Silver and Gold certifications.
