(ANGOLA) - Angola Main Street is accepting sponsorships for its fourth annual Hometown Hero Banner Program.
The program honors veterans and first responders with banners displayed in Historic Downtown Angola.
Sponsors can purchase a banner in honor of veterans from any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, along with police officers, firefighters, EMS workers and paramedics.
Banner sponsorships cost $175. The order deadline is Friday, September 25, 2026.
Program Details
Angola Main Street says banners are installed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The banners will be installed in time for Veterans Day and will remain displayed for one year.
At the end of the display period, the banner is given to the sponsor as a keepsake.
Hometown Heroes Breakfast
All banner sponsors, honorees and their families are invited to Angola Main Street's annual Hometown Heroes Breakfast in early November.
The free community celebration gives organizers a chance to recognize each hero before the banners are installed downtown.

Registration forms are available by contacting Angola Main Street or downloading the form from the organization's website.
Completed forms, payment made out to Angola Main Street and a clear photo of the honoree should be returned to Angola Main Street, P.O. Box 31, Angola, IN 46703.
