(COLDWATER) - One of Coldwater's most popular summer traditions returns Saturday as Strawberry Fest takes over downtown.

The annual festival will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is expected to draw thousands of visitors to the downtown area.

This year's event will feature more than 200 vendors offering fresh strawberries, locally grown produce, handmade crafts, specialty foods and other products. Visitors will also find food trucks, live music, family activities, a bounce house and a petting zoo.

Activities will be spread throughout South Monroe Street, the Tibbits Plaza parking lot and Four Corners Park.

City officials say vendor participation has reached record levels, with all available spaces filled for this year's festival.

Strawberry Fest has become one of Coldwater's signature summer events, attracting visitors from across the region for a day of food, shopping and entertainment in the heart of downtown.
