(ADRIAN) - A Lenawee County man has been sentenced to 70 years in prison for the murder of his wife.
Fifty-six-year-old Dale Warner was sentenced Thursday in Lenawee County Circuit Court.
Warner was convicted in March on charges of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the death of his wife, Dee Warner.
Dee Warner was last seen in April 2021. Prosecutors did not charge Dale Warner in the case until November 2023.
Investigators later discovered Dee Warner's remains in August 2024 inside a sealed anhydrous ammonia tank on the couple's property.
The judge sentenced Warner to 60 years in prison on the second-degree murder conviction and an additional consecutive 10-year sentence for tampering with evidence.
According to the court, Warner will be eligible for parole in 33 years.
