(ANGOLA) - The YMCA of Steuben County is seeking its next Chief Executive Officer.
The YMCA's Board of Directors announced the search, describing it as a rare opportunity to lead a mission-driven organization that plays a vital role in strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
The CEO will serve as the organization's top executive, reporting directly to the Board of Directors and leading the YMCA's overall strategic direction and daily operations.
According to the job description, the position is responsible for overseeing financial stability, staffing, community and philanthropic relationships, and long-term development planning. The CEO will also guide the YMCA's programs and services while working with staff and leadership to address community needs.
The role includes managing organizational resources, directing fundraising efforts, and building partnerships with donors, volunteers, and community leaders. The CEO will also oversee human resources, ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and maintain effective operational systems across the organization.
