Fallen Indiana Police Officer's Funeral Services Set for Sunday and Monday

(BEECH GROVE) - Funeral arrangements have been announced for Beech Grove Police Officer Brian Elliott, who was fatally wounded in the line of duty while responding to a domestic disturbance on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026.

Public visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 22, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Beech Grove High School, 5330 Hornet Ave. A celebration of life is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m., also at the high school.

Officials say both events are open to the public.

A traditional law enforcement procession with ceremonial honors will follow Monday's service. The procession will begin at Beech Grove High School and end at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis. The exact route is expected to be released in the coming days.

Law enforcement officers planning to attend are asked to report in uniform to staging at Beech Grove High School by 8 a.m. Monday.

Elliott was killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call, according to authorities.
