(HAMILTON) - The Hamilton Community Schools Board of Trustees has approved a new contract for Superintendent William Reichhart following a public hearing with no community comments.
KPC News Service/The Star reports that school board members voted Monday to approve the agreement, with four members in favor and one abstention.
The contract takes effect July 1 and runs through June 30, 2027. It includes an automatic one-year extension each July 1 unless either party provides written notice by Dec. 31 of the preceding year declining the extension.
Reichhart will receive an annual salary of $110,000 under the new agreement.
The school board will evaluate Reichhart's performance at least once each November.
