(ANGOLA) -- A Coldwater, Michigan man remains in the Steuben County Jail following an early morning arrest on the Indiana Toll Road that led to multiple drug-related charges.
Authorities say 55-year-old Chad Brewster was taken into custody by the Steuben County Sheriff's Office around 1:18 a.m. on February 5 near mile marker 141 in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80/90.
Following the traffic stop, Brewster was booked into the Steuben County Jail. He faces two Level 6 felony charges for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle. He is also charged with a Class B misdemeanor for possession of marijuana, hash oil, or hashish.
Bond was set at $13,000. As of February 9, Brewster remained incarcerated pending further court proceedings.
Formal charges have been filed by the Steuben County Prosecutor's Office. The case remains pending, and additional information may be released as the legal process continues.
