(DELAWARE COUNTY) - The widow of Blake Reynolds, a Delaware County sheriff's corporal killed in a crash on Interstate 69, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against multiple trucking companies and drivers involved in the incident.

According to court filings, Allison Reynolds filed the lawsuit on Jan. 30, seeking compensation for the death of her husband, who was killed while on duty Nov. 12, 2025.

Reynolds was assisting a semi-truck driver whose vehicle was stopped and partially blocking the roadway on I-69 northbound, several miles from Yorktown. While Reynolds was at the scene, another semi-truck traveling northbound lost control and crashed into the disabled truck and Reynolds' patrol vehicle. Reynolds was killed in the collision.

The lawsuit alleges that the driver of the disabled semi, employed by A & G Deliveries, was operating the vehicle while fatigued, inattentive, and distracted, creating a hazardous situation on the highway. The complaint further claims the driver failed to take proper steps to warn approaching motorists of the obstruction.

The driver of the second semi involved in the crash -- a 39-year-old man from New Haven, Indiana -- is accused in the lawsuit of driving while tired and distracted and at an unreasonable speed for conditions.

The complaint also names Parrish Leasing Inc., alleging the company failed to properly train and supervise its drivers.

The lawsuit seeks damages "in an amount that will fully and fairly compensate" the Reynolds estate for the loss. No court date has been announced.
