(LANSING) - Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer will deliver her final State of the State address on February 25 at 7 p.m.
The address will take place before a joint session of the Michigan Legislature at the State House in Lansing.
Whitmer says her speech will outline priorities for her final year in office, building on what she describes as years of bipartisan progress and fiscally responsible leadership.
Topics are expected to include job creation, housing investments, education spending, and efforts to improve student literacy rates.
Whitmer is serving her second term as governor and is term limited.
