(LAOTTO) - A two-vehicle crash with a rollover sent one driver to the hospital Friday morning in DeKalb County, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to the 6400 block of State Road 205 at approximately 8:04 a.m. on Jan. 16. Investigators say a 2017 GMC Acadia driven by 51-year-old Tate Galligher of Kendallville was traveling southwest when the driver attempted to cross traffic to pull into a business.

As Galligher crossed the roadway, his vehicle turned into the path of a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse driven by 51-year-old Amy Sutton of Huntertown. The vehicles collided, causing Sutton's vehicle to roll over.

Sutton suffered a broken and dislocated finger and was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center for treatment. Galligher reported no injuries.

A 1-year-old child, identified as Raelynn Sutton of LaOtto, was secured in a child safety seat in the rear of the Traverse at the time of the crash and was not injured. Two other occupants involved were treated and released at the scene by Parkview EMS.

Both vehicles were declared totaled as a result of the crash.

The accident is being investigated by Deputy Koziol. The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by DeKalb County Central Communications, Indiana State Police, the LaOtto Fire Department, Parkview EMS, and Tony's Towing.
