Trine Senior Selected for Competitive Orr Fellowship Program

INDIANAPOLIS -- A Trine University senior has been selected for a prestigious early-career development program that will shape his professional path after graduation.

John Wrachford, a senior at Trine University from Fairborn, Ohio, has been chosen for the 2026 Orr Fellowship cohort. The competitive program matches high-achieving college seniors and recent graduates with partner companies in Indianapolis and Evansville.

Founded in 2001, the Orr Fellowship selected more than 90 fellows this year, providing participants with full-time employment, leadership training, mentorship, and professional networking.

Wrachford will graduate in May with a bachelor's degree in computer science and information technology and a master's degree in information systems. Through the Fellowship, he was matched with Mission Critical Group, where he will work as a data analyst supporting the company's expanding national operations.

In addition to his professional role, Wrachford will take part in leadership development, mentorship, and community-building activities offered through the Fellowship. He said those opportunities mirror the broader skill development he valued during his time at Trine.

Orr Fellowship officials said the program benefits both graduates and employers by pairing skilled young professionals with companies seeking long-term talent.
