(COLDWATER) - Memorial donations made in honor of longtime firefighter Doug Trall are helping grow the Coldwater Police and Fire Scholarship Fund, bringing the total close to $19,500.
Trall served his community for more than 50 years with the Quincy Fire Department and the Coldwater Fire Department. Public safety officials say his dedication, compassion and commitment to service left a lasting impact across the region.
Coldwater Public Safety officials thanked community members for the recent donations made in Trall's memory, noting the generosity will directly support local students.
Scholarship applications are now available for eligible seniors through the Coldwater High School guidance office.
