(ANGOLA) - Voters across Steuben County will see a full slate of races this year as elections return in May. Numerous local, county and state offices up for grabs.
Filing for the May 5th primary opened Monday, Jan. 6th and closes at noon on Feb. 6th. The outcomes of this year's races will significantly shape county and local leadership when new terms begin in 2027. The Herald Republican has compiled a thorough list of election information and races.
During the primary election, all Democratic precinct committeeman positions will be on the ballot, along with delegate races for both Democratic and Republican state conventions scheduled for this summer. Several school board races will appear on the general election ballot on Nov. 3rd, 2026.
