BOWLING GREEN, OH - A northwest Ohio college is cutting baseball from its athletic program.
The Bowling Green State University Baseball program has been eliminated as part of a cost-cutting measure stemming from Covid-19. This is one part of a $2 million dollar reduction plan in the athletics department's budget.
The move affects 34 student-athletes and three coaches. BGSU will now sponsor only 17 NCAA Division I sports.
