Two children are dead and another is being treated for burns following a camper fire Monday morning in Bronson Township.

The Michigan State Police and the Branch County Sheriff's Department say they were called to a residence at 1139 Hollow Road Monday morning at 10:30 for a fire in a fifth-wheel camper that was next to the house. The Bronson Fire Department arrived and extinguished the blaze.

Two children died in the fire. They were two and five years old. A third child was able to get out of the camper and was taken to the burn unit at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
