BRYAN, OH - A man who got away from authorities two weeks ago in a multi-agency car chase that started in Northwest Ohio is behind bars.
Eddie Ramirez escaped from Bryan City police on the December 31st. Officers were trying to get him on a warrant.
A break in the case came this week when Ramirez was reportedly hiding out at a motel on Ohio 15. When officers arrived Ramirez’s girlfriend in the room tried to give police the runaround. During this time Ramirez broke into another motel room.
During the break-in, Ramirez was apprehended by authorities.
Both Ramirez and the female subject were taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio where they remain in custody with additional charges pending.
The incident remains under investigation.
