AHLEY, IN - One person was injured following a golf cart crash Saturday evening near Ashley.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of the crash in the 3100 block of County Road 4, south of Ashley, just before 8 p.m. Reports indicate a golf cart was traveling westbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it crashed. Investigators say a passenger, Priscilla L. Christian, age 47 of Ashley, was ejected from the front seat.
Authorities say Christian sustained a head injury and was transported to the hospital. The driver, identified as Craig W. Christian, age 43 of Ashley, was not injured in the crash.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
