Auburn Garrett Drive-In Raising Funds To Assist In Estimated Repairs Totaling $300K
Tuesday, October 4, 2022

GARRETT, IN - The owners of the Auburn Garrett Drive-In are raising funds to repair the damaged out door destination.

Their season was cut short this year, after a high-winded storm severely damaged the screen and surrounding skirting in August.

Owners say the numbers to repair the damage are “astronomical and shocking.”

Rebuilding cost are reportedly estimated to cost roughly $300,000, of which insurance will cover $75,000. A GoFundMe campaign has been established with other ways to raise funds also being pursued.

Their goal is to reopen in spring of 2023.

The Drive-In opened in the 1950s.
