BRONSON, MI – The Bronson School Board approved the addition of Maggie the Therapy Dog.
School officials say Maggie will be in each of the district’s buildings one day a week.
The Youth Advisory Committee and the Branch County Community Foundation awarded Bronson Community Schools a grant that will fund the therapy dog initiative through the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
Maggie is a pure Golden Retriever who previously worked at Pansophia Academy. Maggie’s specialties include cheering up students who are having a bad day, may be grieving or who are stressed out.
