April Last Month To Apply For Angola’s AIF/OCRA Small Business Loan
By: Sheila McCrea - Tuesday, April 5, 2022

ANGOLA, IN – April (2022) is the last month that the Angola Investment Fund (AIF) will be accepting applications for the small business loan program created through funds made possible by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) and the Angola Investment Fund (AIF).

The program is scheduled to end May 1st (2022).

“We hope to distribute all funds by mid to late April, so businesses who have thought about applying should do so now.” said Mayor Richard Hickman. “Although April is the last month to accept applications, the reality is that if funds run out before April, that’s when the program ends.”

The forgivable loan program is designed for local service and retail small businesses within Angola’s municipal boundaries that have been adversely impacted by the ongoing pandemic. Businesses may apply for loans up to $10,000. The loans can be forgiven if certain criteria are met.

Please go to the city’s website at https://www.angolain.org/AIFLoan to learn more about the funding and how to apply or contact Maria Davis at the City of Angola at 260-624-2698, mdavis@angolain.org.
