Serious Crash Near Bryan Injuries Indiana Woman Who Was Critically Injured
By: Sheila McCrea - Wednesday, August 25, 2021

BRYAN, OH - Investigators say distracted driving may have been a contributing factor in crash that caused critical injuries west of Bryan.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Jennifer Glover, of Fort Wayne, was driving south on County Road 16 while Mark Magana, of Bryan, was westbound on County Road D. Reports indicate Glover failed to yield.

Magana’s vehicle reportedly broadsides Glover’s car. Bryan firefighters had to cut Glover out of the wreckage with power tools.

An air ambulance landed at the Williams County Regional Airport, nearby. Glover was flown to St. Vincent’s in Toledo where she was last listed in critical condition.

Magana was taken for treatment in Bryan where he was released from care, soon after with just minor injuries.

Crash investigators say drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor; however, authorities believe distracted driving might be the cause.

The incident remains under investigation.
