Friday Night Two Vehicle Crash in Steuben County

A Kendallville woman was seriously injured in a two car crash in Steuben County Friday evening.
27-year-old Emilee Deming of Kendallville was hurt when another car crossed the center line and struck her vehicle. Deming was not wearing a seatbelt and the airbags deployed in her car. She was flown from the scene to a Fort Wayne hospital with severe injuries to her head, right arm and right leg.
Police say a 2-year-old child was also in the car with Deming. The child sustained minor injuries to his mouth and was treated at an area hospital.
It happened just on Country Road 500 South west of County Road 850 West in Salem Township in Steuben County.
Police say 45-year-old Michael Taylor of Angola was driving westbound on County Round 500 South when he hit a bump in the road, causing him to cross the center line. He received minor injuries.
