The Asher House visits Humane Shelter Promotes Dog Adoption in Indiana

Lee Asher of the Asher House visited the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County on Sunday afternoon.

Lee Asher quit his job and sold his house to pursue his passion for dogs. He is now in the middle of a quest to get a dog adopted in all 48 states of the continental United States. Lee and his best friend Luke began this mission in February and are about half way through their journey and have already contributed to the adoption of 82 dogs. Lee wants to destigmatize what it means to adopt from an animal shelter.

The Humane Shelter of Steuben County was the first shelter that Asher visited in Indiana and Executive Director Alisa Mills is excited about the impact that the Asher House visit will hopefully have on their shelter...

The Asher House will continue their tour to the Metazoa Brewery Co. in Indianapolis, IN on June 5th.
