Williams County voters approved all eight local issues on Tuesday’s ballot, including Issue 3, the renewal of an operating levy for the Williams County Department of Aging.

The levy would bring in $207,925 annually and cost the owner of a $100,000 house about $8 per year.

In other election results from Tuesday, Carrie Schlade has been elected as the city of Bryan, Ohio's first female mayor. Schlade is not only the city's first woman, but only the third mayor in 40 years. Schlade will replace current Mayor Doug Johnson, who has been mayor since 2002, when she’s sworn in in January.

In the contested 3rd Ward Council race, John Betts defeated Joel Stevens with vote totals of 569 to 269.

Election results for area town councils included Jason Lee Rockey, Daniel L. Willis and Kevin Motter all winning seats on Montpelier Village Council. Rockey led the pack with 493 votes (33 percent), followed by Willis with 400 (27 percent) and Motter with 387 (26 percent). Gerald Bergman finished fourth in the three seat race with 208 votes (14 percent).
Four candidates, newcomers Jason Gruver, Robert Day and Roger Muehlfeld as well as incumbent Jackie Perry were elected to Edgerton Village Council from a field of seven candidates.
