Vacant Burger King Restaurant at Ohio 49 and Ohio Turnpike Sold
Monday May 15, 2017 1:04pm
14000 Ohio 49 • Edon, OH

By: Sheila McCrea

The vacant Burger King restaurant at Ohio 49 and the Ohio Turnpike has been purchased by a northeast Ohio development company. A real estate development company based in Hubbard, Ohio, announced the purchase in a press release late Friday.

The 2,860-square-foot building, on one acre in the 14000 block of Ohio 49, has been empty since Burger King vacated late last year.

No purchase price was revealed in the press release. The proposed buyed is Mid-Toll, Inc.

The sale has not been recorded at the county auditor’s office yet. Records show a fast food building was initially built on the site in 1996.
