The Steuben County Highway Department began work on County Road 200 North between County Road 350 East and County Road 300 East on Monday, and due to the weather that the tri-state area was impacted by on Tuesday, the project has now been extended.
The project is now slated to be completed by Thursday, June 11th which is two days later than the original plan had indicated.
This is all being done for a culvert replacement over the Hazel Metz drain, as motorists are still being asked to avoid the area and to seek alternative travel routes.
The Steuben County Highway Department would like to once again thank everyone for their continued understanding.
