The Steuben County 4-H Fair on Monday evening hoped to have made a decision in regards to the status of the 2020 fair, which is still at this time slated to take place this coming summer. However, that status could change by the end of this week.
The Board chose to spend more time on deciding whether or not the fair will happen this year as they are still weighing out the details in things like seeing if getting enough sanitation supplies for the event is possible.
Officials are still going through the over 70 pages of text from the Purdue Extension office in weighing out possible scenarios for the event if it should still happen.
Officials went on to say that a final decision shall be shared with the public by 5 P.M., this coming Friday, May 22nd.
