Williams County Airport Project Could Take Off This Summer
Monday, March 30, 2020

BRYAN, OH - Phase 1 of the Williams County Regional Airport project is expected to take flight this summer. The first part of the project includes the taxiway improvement portion of the project, which airport officials say will improve the safety of the airport. The completion of Phase 1 will bring the airport into compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations. The airport hopes to find out in the near future if they will receive state and federal funding to move into Phase 2 of the project. The second phase includes extending the taxiway to the end of the runway, as early as this year or 2021. Officials with the airport believe the Phase 2 funding will be approved.
