Indiana Casinos & Race Tracks Close Due To Coronavirus
Monday, March 16, 2020

All sports books, casinos and horse tracks in Indiana will shut down by Monday morning under order from the state's gaming and racing commission.

The decision is another move to try to control the spread of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. Operators were notified over the weekend and the commission posted the following alert on its website: Based on changing circumstances and in the interest of public health, Indiana licensed gaming and racing operations will close for at least 14 days beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020. The Indiana Gaming and Horse Racing Commissions will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as appropriate.
