Northeast Indiana Highlighted In New Travel Guide
Thursday, January 2, 2020

If you have family or friends from across the country looking for a new place to visit on their next vacation, one popular travel guide has the tri-state area now listed as one of the top places to go.

Frommer’s named “Indiana Among the World’s Top Places to Go in 2020," and in northeast Indiana, the cities of Auburn and Angola, as well as the Blue Gate Restaurant of Shipshewana appear on the first two lists, which were both released on New Year’s Day.

Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch told reporters that with these lists, it really could be a big year for Hoosiers to truly explore the state, and hope that visitors will truly experience the hospitality and charm of one of Indiana's many small towns.

When visiting Auburn, visitors will find four epic car museums and a history of making amazing automobiles, as the city draws car lovers from around the world.

Last year, USA Today named Angola one of America's Best Historic Small Towns, highlighted by its rich history, shopping and fun, as well as encouraging people to visit nearby Pokagon State Park for year-round adventure.
