One Person Injured in Thursday Night Crash

QUINCY, MI - One person was injured following a roll over crash Thursday night.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. in Branch County's Quincy Township on Briggs Road south of Jonesville Road.

According to the Michigan State Police, a 33-year-old man was injured after he tried to avoid hitting a deer. Investigators say after the driver tried to avoid hitting the deer, his vehicle rolled over in a nearby corn field.

MSP reports indicate the injured driver was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.

Assisting the Michigan State Police at the scene were crews with the Quincy Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.

The accident remains under investigation by the Michigan State Police.
