Duesy Award Attendees Give Over $1300 To Area Nonprofits

The DeKalb Chamber Partnership is proud to donate over $1,300 to area nonprofit agencies on behalf of the attendees of the Duesy Awards held on Thursday, November 14th. In lieu of a take home gift, attendees designated 1 nonprofit of the year finalist to receive our gift on their behalf.

Those finalists were United Way DeKalb County, YMCA of DeKalb County, and DeKalb Community Impact Corporation (DCIC). These gifts were made possible by generous sponsors including: Farmers & Merchants State Bank, DEKALB Molded Plastics, Auburn Essential Services, Bowen Center, NIPSO, STAR Technology. The total gift for each organization is as follows: DCIC - $510, United Way- $430, and YMCA $435.

The DeKalb Awards for Excellence in Business, Community, and Education - or the Duesys, are awarded by the DeKalb Chamber Partnership each fall to recognize the outstanding leaders in DeKalb County who go above and beyond in terms of quality, innovation, and community support.
