For the month of October, unemployment numbers in Fulton County increased slightly according to data from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
The rate for October was 4%, compared to 3.8% for the month of September. At this time last year, the rate was at 3.8%.
The estimates report a workforce of 22,400 within Fulton County, with 900 unemployed. The jobless rate in the state of Ohio was at 4.2%, last month.
The number of workers unemployed within Ohio in October was 246,000, up 3,000 from 243,000 in September.
